Las Vegas. Now New York. The unexpected loss of a close friend.
Try not to wrestle head-on with what is not clear today.

When the words do not come. When anything you might say is inadequate. Pause for a moment.
Begin again tomorrow… where you left off today.
It’s a complex world. It can get heavy. Take off your load and set it aside. Lean against a rock.
There are times when it helps to just splash your face with water. Cold water. Or maybe walk barefoot in the grass.
You could stand in the rain. You could close your eyes and feel a breeze against your face.
It’s a gentler form of therapy that snaps you away for a moment.
Gives you a brief reset. Then you pick up and carry on.
Because you can. Because you will.
